Welcome
Hi, I’m Vero
I live in Paris and have personally visited every destination featured on this blog — from the lavender fields of Provence to the villages of the French Riviera, and of course, Paris itself.
I want to share my passion for France with you. It’s a beautiful country with so much to see and do, and I’m sure you’ll fall in love with it too.
I’m originally from Mar del Plata, Argentina. In 2002, I moved to Spain with a friend for what was supposed to be a few months — it turned into 16 years. Along the way I got a degree in Business and Tourism, which gave me a practical grounding in the industry, though most of what I share here comes from experience, not textbooks. In 2018, I finally moved to France, and I haven’t looked back since.
I’ve always loved to travel. In 2014, I started blogging on Touristear Travel Blog, and in 2019 I launched this blog — almost as a spin-off from Touristear — dedicated entirely to France.

Where this all began
In 2014, I started my blogging journey on Touristear.com. I have shared tips for traveling as a couple, by car and RV, weekend getaways, and road trips dreamed of.
- I’ve traveled most of Spain, mostly by car. I am fortunate to have visited all the provinces, although not all of their capitals, I am also missing Ceuta and Melilla.
- I lived for 6 months in London,
- 9 months in Toledo, Spain
- and since the end of 2018 we have embarked on a new adventure and have come to live in France. For how long? We don’t know.
I love traveling, and walking new places and meeting new people. Also, I’m passionate about photography; I think I’m learning and improving my photos. (Or so I hope!!!)
I also like rock and TV shows in the original versions. I always like to be doing or learning something.
I have started writing this blog to share my passion for France. I’m traveling a lot around this beautiful country, and I want you to know more about it. Because France is much more than Paris! And, also, I love Paris!
My dream is to know the world; there are too many places and too little time! Let’s Start!
