I said several times that you can enjoy fabulous views from the town, but if you want to take a picture of the town hill, you have to go to one View Point.
The one on the Route de Cavaillon has the best views of Gordes. And also has a parking lot to stop with the car safely.
In the town, you have to go to “Rue du Belvedere,” a few meters from “Caves du Palais Saint Firmin” you have the best views of the countryside.
By the way, you can visit the Caves du Palais and enjoy Gordes underground. It’s a historical monument.

Monks reside at the abbey and offer guided tours of the property. They have taken a vow of silence and now make money through harvesting lavender. You can purchase their products on site.
2. Pont du Gard
This ancient Roman aqueduct is located about 30 minutes from Gordes and is a must-see for any history or architecture lover.
The bridge was built in the 1st century AD and is one of the best-preserved Roman structures in Europe. It’s a great place to wander around and take in the history of the area.
3. Visit the village of Roussillon
Roussillon is a charming village located just a short drive from Gordes. It’s known for its colorful cliffs and unique architecture, and it’s a great place to wander around for a few hours.
